The veteran Indian commentator, Harsha Bhogle praised the Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper, Rohit Sharma after the game against Delhi Capitals (DC) despite his low strike rate which was played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Just a day before, Harsha commented on the strike rate of Virat Kohli during the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

However, now a fan with the name Pari on Twitter has called out Harsha Bhogle for double standards, and the latter has come up with a reply as well. Talking about the overall incident, Harsha tweeted during the game between RCB and LSG, as he wrote: “This game confirms everything we have been talking about strike rates.”

He also added, “Kohli 61(44), eventual SR of 139 but got 16(15) at the end. Du Plessis 79(46) eventual SR of 172 but was 33(30). Those balls don’t come back. And #RCB was short in the end. It is not about the eventual SR.”

On the other hand, after the game between MI and DC, Harsha Bhogle wrote: “Absolute joy watching Rohit bat in this form. #MI have been tactically superb, both by attacking the power play and going after the threat of Kuldeep Yadav”

Sharing the screenshot of both these tweets, a Twitter handle named Pari wrote, “61(44) – “Test knock by Virat Kohli” 65(45) – “Hitman is back” Double standards of these cricket experts!” Replying to the same, Harsha wrote: “Naughty. Naughty. That tweet was from the middle of the innings. Can understand your disappointment but look elsewhere for motives. Not done Pari.”

However, in the end, Virat’s knock couldn’t;t help RCB win teh game, but Rohit’s fifty helped his team to register a nail-biting win over DC.
