Arshdeep Singh Reveals The Environment On PBKS’ Dressing Room

Punjab Kings (PBKS) fast-bowler Arshdeep Singh has said that he tries to keep the team environment light ahead of their match against defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) at PCA Stadium in Mohali. PBKS is currently placed sixth in the IPL 2023 points table, while GT occupies the fourth spot. Speaking in a video released by IPL, Arshdeep Singh opines that the fans at the PCA Stadium will add a Punjabi flavor to the competition.

Explaining the same, as per the quotes in India Today, Arshdeep Singh said, “Very happy for the fan’s support and to be able to come back and play where it all started for me. The venue will provide a lot of local support and add a Punjabi flavor to IPL.”

The left-arm pacer said he hopes to keep winning games for his side in the IPL while thanking the fans for standing by the team even when they don’t win. PBKS has never won the IPL and has finished sixth in the last three editions of the tournament.

Explaining the same, Arshdeep Singh said, “Favorite memory would be my debut here. I performed well and the team won the match also. I’m hoping I can keep performing for the team and winning matches. The fans support us even though the results may not go our way sometimes.”

Speaking about his role on the side, Arshdeep said he tries to keep the team environment light and ensure that the players enjoy each other’s company. Arshdeep has picked six wickets in three matches in IPL 2023.

Talking about his responsibility, Arashdeep Singh said, “I’ll try to give my best for the team, wherever they need it. My responsibility is to keep the team environment good. I’m a fun-loving person, so I try and keep the team environment light and make sure that the players enjoy each other’s company. “

The 24-year-old heaped praise on PBKS captain Shikhar Dhawan’s nature and dance moves, when asked about his best qualities. PBKS will be hoping Orange Cap holder and captain Shikhar Dhawan can fire with the bat once again as they take on the defending champions at home.
