The 50th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 will be played between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Arjun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. DC is currently placed at the bottom of the points table of this season of IPL whereas RCB has witnessed a decent journey to stand at the fifth spot on the points table. Delhi Capitals played nine matches in this season of the IPL where they managed to win three matches while the Bangalore-based franchise won five games in as many games.
Delhi Capitals played their last game against Gujarat Titans and managed to pull off a close 5-run win. Aman Khan smashed 51 runs for Delhi Capitals in that game. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore played their last match against Lucknow Super Giants where they won the game by 18 runs.

Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis played commendable knocks of 31 runs and 44 runs respectively for RCB in that game. These two teams have played have played 29 games against each other in the history of IPL so far where Delhi Capitals managed to win 10 matches while Royal Challengers Bangalore won the remaining games.

#1 Anrich Nortje vs Faf du Plessis
Faf du Plessis has been witnessing a purple patch for RCB in IPL 2023, while Anrich Nortje has not been at his best for DC. However, Nortje will be determined to get the better of his fellow countryman early on in the upcoming clash. In their four IPL encounters, Du Plessis has scored runs at a strike rate of 162.50 against Nortje and has been dismissed once. Nortje has taken Du Plessis’ wicket twice in seven T20 innings, conceding 34 runs in 27 balls.
#2 Mohammed Siraj vs David Warner
David Warner has been struggling to score runs in the last few games, while Mohammed Siraj has been impressive in the powerplay for RCB. In their five innings against each other, Siraj dismissed Warner once. Although Warner has scored 55 runs at a strike rate of 177.41 against Siraj, the RCB fast bowler has picked up eight wickets in the powerplay this season. Warner has a powerplay strike rate of 127.81.
#3 Kuldeep Yadav vs Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli tends to approach Kuldeep Yadav with caution in the IPL, as he has only been dismissed by the spinner once. Kohli’s strike rate against him is just 113.63, indicating that he prefers to play risk-free against him. However, Kohli has been dismissed twice by spinners in his last five games. This season, Kohli has scored 364 runs, while Kuldeep has taken eight wickets.
