Riyan Parag has been going through a rough patch in the ongoing IPL 2023. In six matches so far, he has managed to score only 58 runs which came at a strike rate of 107.40, and at one point, he was also dropped from the playing XI as well. However, in the match against Gujarat Titans on May 5, Parag came out to bat as an impact player but managed to score only four runs off six balls as well and once again failed to deliver when the team needed him the most.
Meanwhile, after the match got over, Riyan Parag took to Twitter to share a cryptic tweet stating that the good times and the bad times eventually pass after some time as well. “Waqt acha ho ya bura Guzar he jata hai!” Parag wrote.

After the game, Sanju Samson, RR skipper said as quoted by Cricbuzz: “We had a very tough night, didn’t really have a good powerplay to start with and struggled against the spinners. Their bowlers were bowling good line and length and kept on taking some crucial wickets during middle overs and when that happens there is nothing much you can do. We have to check our to-do list and see if we are actually playing good cricket, we need to pull our socks up, couple of crucial games coming up and we are looking forward to win games in the next couple of weeks.”
