Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be locking horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for the first time in the 65th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Raji Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. SRH is currently placed at the bottom of the points table of this season of IPL whereas RCB is currently placed at the fifth spot on the points table.
The Sunrisers played 12 games in this season of the IPL where they managed to win four matches while the Bangalore-based franchise also played 12 games in this season where they won six matches. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore pulled off a 112-run win over Rajasthan Royals (RR). Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell smashed 55 runs and 54 runs respectively for RCB against RR. These two teams have played 21 games against each other in the history of IPL so far where Sunrisers Hyderabad won 12 matches while Royal Challengers Bangalore managed to win 9 games.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar comes into the fixture on the back of a five-wicket haul, which included three wickets in the final over. Against RCB however, SRH will need him to make the most of his spell as he matches up well against the famed triad – Virat Kohli (SR: 119 | 3 dismissals), Faf du Plessis (SR: 122 | 1 dismissal) and Glenn Maxwell (121 | 2 dismissals).
