Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh said there are certain chances that Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will be locking horns with the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Eliminator of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 to be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
More than the match, Harbhajan talked about the mini-battle between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir. Earlier this month, when the two teams faced each other at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, Gambhir and Kohli were seen engaging in a verbal spat after which both were fined 100 percent of their match fees.

The RCB batter also had a war of words with LSG fast bowler, Naveen-ul-Haq after the match, which RCB had won on the day. During a chat on Star Sports, Harbhajan Singh said, “If Kohli and Gambhir again face each other, I hope they do not clash again. I am only concerned about it.”
The Super Giants made their way through to the playoffs after registering a close win over the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by one run on Saturday, May 20 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. RCB is still fighting for a place in the playoffs with Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) also being in contention.

Harbhajan Singh added, “RCB is playing good cricket and if they manage to win their last league game, they will qualify directly. Both Mumbai Indians and RCB will be expected to win today, but RCB are have much better net run rate. If RCB go ahead then it will be a contest between the men from Delhi.”
RCB’s last and final league game is against table-toppers Gujarat Titans (GT) in the second of Sunday’s doubleheader at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. It is also the last match of the league after which the playoffs will get underway on May 23 with the match between GT and the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Chepauk.
