Former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri has expressed his belief that Virat Kohli’s remarkable track record against the formidable Australian team is a foreboding sign for Pat Cummins and his teammates in the final of the ICC World Test Championship. Known as one of the best batsmen in the modern era, Kohli has arrived in London following an impressive performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL), regaining his top form.

“Virat Kohli will wake up differently if the match is against Australia, he smells the coffee much earlier if it’s Australia, so if he gets going, gets to 20, then we will have some fun,” Ravi Shastri remarked. These recent comments by the former Indian head coach have garnered attention and sparked discussions among fans on social media.

In the previous encounter between India and Australia during the fourth and final Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, former Indian captain Kohli ended his century drought.
