The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially unveiled the schedule for the highly anticipated 2023 ICC Men’s 50-over World Cup, set to take place in India. With just 100 days to go until the tournament, cricket fans around the world can now mark their calendars with the full list of match fixtures, venues, and timings for the 16th edition of this prestigious event.
After much speculation and anticipation, the ICC finalized the schedule during a special event held in Mumbai. The tournament will commence on October 5 at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. A total of 48 matches will be played over a span of 46 days, featuring the participation of ten teams.
Each team will face off against the other nine sides in the league stage, with the top four teams advancing to the semifinals. The semifinal matches are scheduled for November 15 and 16, leading up to the grand finale on November 19, which will also take place in Ahmedabad.

To ensure the smooth execution of the tournament, the ICC has selected ten top-notch venues across India. The cities hosting the matches include Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Dharamsala, Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata, providing cricket enthusiasts across the country with the opportunity to witness the excitement firsthand.
Eight teams have already secured their spots in the World Cup. Hosts India received direct qualification, while Afghanistan, Australia, England, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Pakistan, and South Africa earned their places through the 2020-2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. The remaining two teams will be determined through the ongoing World Cup Qualifiers.
