Rohit posed a question to Rahane about his message to the young players, considering his experience of playing in the West Indies and on those pitches. Rahane stressed the importance of patience and staying focused, emphasizing that cricketers should avoid distractions and focus solely on the game at hand.

As per the quotes in News18, Ajinkya Rahane said, โ€œMy message to youngsters and everyone is that patience is very important. The atmosphere here is quite chilled. How important is it for cricketers to focus on not to think what they have to do after 5 pm. You have to adapt to the country you are in. You have to keep your focus on the ground. Thereโ€™s no need to focus elsewhereโ€ฆ”

But just as Rahane was answering, heavy rain started pouring down, forcing the players to seek shelter inside the dressing room. Despite the interruption, Rahane managed to convey his appreciation for playing under Rohit’s captaincy. He described the experience as enjoyable, highlighting the freedom.
