Team India is all set to take on West Indies in the second Test match in Trinidad, aiming to clinch the series 2-0 after their dominant performance in the series opener in Dominica. The second Test will also mark the 100th meeting between the two sides in Test cricket. Ahead of the final game of the series, Indian cricket fans in Trinidad had a delightful experience as they gathered at the Queen’s Park Oval to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars.
Members of the Indian cricket team graciously obliged their fans, signing autographs and posing for selfies. Former India skipper Virat Kohli and current captain Rohit Sharma were among the players who interacted with the enthusiastic fans.

One heartwarming moment occurred when Rohit Sharma met a fan who had taken a photo with him in 2019. Recalling the moment, Rohit remarked, “That’s from 2019. Too much beard.” Another young fan gifted greeting cards to both Kohli and Rohit, and the latter was visibly pleased by the gesture, appreciating the effort and keeping the card close.

The Indian team also had the privilege of meeting the batting legend Brian Lara before the second Test. Head coach Rahul Dravid and star players, including Kohli, Rohit, Mohammed Siraj, and Ravindra Jadeja, greeted the West Indian cricket icon and exchanged handshakes.

Looking ahead to the match, Rohit Sharma expressed high hopes for young wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan. He emphasized the need to provide opportunities to Kishan, praising his aggressive style of play and his ability to contribute to the team’s performance.
