Indian captain Rohit Sharma was not amused by the effort of Mohammed Siraj in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 match against Australia. The senior opener was fuming at the pacer after he was hit by Mitchell Starc for four. It happened during the last over of the game when Mohammed Siraj missed his yorker and the ball was turned into half-volley.

Mitchell Starc smashed the ball straight down the ground. It got well wide of mid-off who was inside the ring. Rohit Sharma didn’t like Mitchell Starc hitting Mohammed Siraj for four. He fumed at his teammate and abused him. The video of the incident did rounds on the internet and gained many hilarious reactions.

After that four, Rohit Sharma chatted with Mohammed Siraj. The conversation worked pretty well as the fast bowler rattled Starc on the next ball. He bowled a slower ball to which the batter hit towards the deep square leg and was caught. Mitchell Starc made a handy contribution for his team.

The fast bowler scored a handy 28 runs that powered Australia to a total of 200 runs on the board. Steve Smith was the top run scorer for his team with a score of 47 runs.

Chennai crowd always come in good numbers and it is good to see a full house. Just go out there and play simple cricket, not try anything fancy and keep it simple.”
