However, the picturesque city of Dharamsala, renowned for its scenic beauty and heavenly landscape, poses a potential threat to the smooth progression of the upcoming Test due to its high altitude.

Recent weather updates from The Telegraph suggest that sleet is anticipated to impact the city during the initial days of the match. Sleet, a combination of rain droplets and partially melted ice, could lead to multiple interruptions in the game.

Additionally, the Telegraph reports that the early morning temperatures might plummet to as low as 1°C, rendering it nearly impossible to conduct a cricket match under such extreme conditions.
Earlier this year, players faced considerable challenges on the field in Mohali, where temperatures dropped to 10°C. Given this context, playing cricket in conditions as extreme as 1°C is currently deemed impractical.
