However, Faf du Plessis and Rajat Patidar stabilized the RCB innings with an impressive 82-run partnership, showcasing remarkable boundary-hitting skills. Patidar reached his fifty in just 25 balls but was dismissed on the next delivery.

Following Patidar’s dismissal, Glenn Maxwell departed for a duck to spinner Shreyas Gopal. Du Plessis also reached his fifty before falling victim to Bumrah, who then proceeded to dismiss Mahipal Lomror with a toe-crushing delivery.

Dinesh Karthik played a crucial role for RCB, keeping the scoreboard ticking with innovative shots. He dismantled Akash Madhwal, smashing four boundaries in an over, all directed towards the third-man region. Bumrah completed his five-wicket haul by dismissing Saurav Chauhan and Vyshak Vijayakumar in successive deliveries in the penultimate over.
