Heinrich Klaasen’s phenomenal display of power hitting left fans in awe as he smashed the joint longest six of IPL 2024, launching a colossal 106-meter maximum against Royal Challengers Bangalore in match 30 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Monday (April 15). Klaasen’s towering shot joins the league of extraordinary sixes matched by Nicholas Pooran of Lucknow Super Giants and Venkatesh Iyer of Kolkata Knight Riders, both coincidentally achieved against RCB at the same venue.
Previously, Ishan Kishan of Mumbai Indians had unleashed a 103-meter hit against Sunrisers Hyderabad, while Andre Russell held the record with a 102-meter strike for Kolkata Knight Riders against SRH. Tristan Stubbs also entered the elite club by clearing the boundary with a hit over 100 meters this season.
