Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) etched their name in IPL history with yet another record-breaking performance against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Monday, April 15. Following their historic total against Mumbai Indians, Hyderabad once again raised the bar by posting an astounding 287 runs against RCB.

The monumental innings were orchestrated by stellar performances from Travis Head, Heinrich Klaasen, Abdul Samad, and Aiden Markram, each contributing significantly to the team’s commanding total.

Reflecting on the achievement, centurion Travis Head expressed the team’s ambition to breach the elusive 300-run mark in IPL matches. He emphasized the team’s depth in the middle order, highlighting the power hitters like Klaasen, Abdul Samad, and Nitish Kumar Reddy.

“Our total needs a three in front of it; does it now? We’ve got guys like Klaasen, Abdul Samad, and Nitish (Kumar Reddy)… We’ve got some power through the middle, and we want to keep just putting the foot down as much as we can,” remarked Travis Head, as quoted by SportStar.

 

He further added, “We know that’s not always guaranteed, but at the moment, I think we’re setting it up really well in each game and getting to the score that we need.”

Sunrisers Hyderabad has showcased commendable performances throughout the ongoing IPL season. With six games under their belt, the team has emerged victorious in four encounters and suffered only two defeats.
