In the very next over, he struck again with the ball, dismissing Azmatullah Omarzai for just one run, further denting GT’s chase at 98 for 3, eventually they last teh game by 3 runs.

Earlier in the match, Axar had showcased his all-round prowess, contributing a vital half-century and partnering with captain Rishabh Pant in a formidable 113-run stand for the fourth wicket. Their partnership rescued DC from a precarious position of 44 for 3, ultimately enabling them to post a challenging total.
