Virat Kohli Crashes Kagiso Rabada’s Podcast Interview

Social media is abuzz with a recent viral moment featuring Indian cricket star Virat Kohli crashing an interview with South African and Punjab Kings fast bowler Kagiso Rabada. During Rabada’s appearance on the ‘Willow Talk’ podcast, Kohli unexpectedly joined the interview, creating quite a stir online.

The incident occurred ahead of the clash between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the HPCA stadium in Dharamsala on Thursday, May 9. In the viral clip, Rabada spots Kohli on the computer screen during his interview and points it out to the interviewer.

“Virat Kohli is right there; he’s dancing,” Kagiso Rabada remarks before informing Kohli that he’s in the middle of a podcast. Kohli, appearing curious, asks which podcast it is, and Rabada responds, “Willow Talk.”

The interviewer attempts to ask Kohli about his thoughts on Rabada as a bowler, but Kohli, unable to hear due to Rabada’s headphones, misses the question. In a light-hearted exchange, Rabada jokingly suggests that Kohli probably thinks he’s a rubbish bowler, prompting both players to share a handshake as Kohli exits the frame..

Speaking of Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings, both sides will lock horns in the 58th game at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala on Thursday, May 09. Both sides have had similar campaigns in the tournament so far, as RCB currently sit in seventh place in the standings with four wins and seven losses.

They will be coming into the game on the back of three consecutive wins, and they will aim to register their fourth consecutive win when they take on Punjab Kings.

On the other hand, the Sam Curran-led side occupies eighth place in the standings, and sit just behind RCB. With four wins and seven losses, Punjab have eight points in 11 matches and are behind RCB on net run rate.
