Dan Reynolds, showing his appreciation for Virat Kohli, said, “If we had to dedicate a song to Virat, the GOAT, I think we’ll have to dip our fingers back into our new album, ‘Gods Don’t Pray,’ just because he’s considered a God, and that would be the song for him,” he told Star Sports.

The band’s lead guitarist, Daniel Wayne Sermon, also dedicated a song to Team India for their T20 World Cup campaign. Drawing inspiration from India’s 2013 Champions Trophy victory, Sermon chose one of the band’s earliest hits to motivate the team as they strive for glory in this year’s tournament.

“Wow, 2013. It’s been a while. I think ‘It’s Time’ has to be the one. It’s time to bring that back to India. Let’s go!” Daniel Wayne Sermon said. Dan Reynolds echoed his sentiments, adding: “That was our first single, and ‘it’s time to begin’, isn’t it? It’s the first line of the chorus.”

Reflecting on their recent visit to India, the band shared their admiration for the country’s people, culture, and cuisine, and expressed a strong desire to return frequently. Imagine Dragons recently performed at Lollapalooza on January 28, and the band was thrilled with the enthusiastic reception they received from the Indian crowd.

With such heartfelt endorsements and encouragement from a globally acclaimed band, Team India and Virat Kohli are sure to feel a surge of motivation as they embark on their quest for T20 World Cup glory.
