On Thursday, June 20, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) revealed the schedule of the Indian team at home for the 2024-25 season. The schedule features tours by Bangladesh, New Zealand, and England, bringing a lineup of games that everyone will look forward to. India’s home season will be commencing with a couple of Tests against Bangladesh. The first Test is slated to begin on September 23 in Chennai, followed by the second Test in Kanpur, starting on October 1.

Following the Test series, India and Bangladesh will be locking horns with each other for a three-match T20I series with games scheduled in Dharamsala, Delhi, and Hyderabad.

Next on India’s agenda is a three-match Test series against New Zealand. The series opens on October 20 in Bengaluru, just eight days after India’s final T20I against Bangladesh. The second and third Tests will be held in Pune and Mumbai, respectively.

The season concludes with a highly anticipated series against England. This showdown features a five-match T20I series commencing on January 22, 2025. The T20Is will take place in Chennai, Kolkata, Rajkot, Pune, and Mumbai. Following the T20I series, England will play a three-match ODI series, with matches scheduled in Nagpur, Cuttack, and Ahmedabad.
