The T20 World Cup-winning Indian Cricket Team finally returned home after being stranded for a few days in Barbados due to Hurricane Beryl. The Men in Blue landed in Delhi on Thursday, July 4, via a specially arranged charter flight. Upon reaching the capital, the Indian cricketers were greeted by euphoric fans at the airport, creating a festive atmosphere.
Buses were arranged to transport the team and their families to the ITC Maurya hotel in New Delhi. As the players arrived at the hotel, they were welcomed by a vibrant group of dancers performing to the energetic beats of dhol. Despite being jet-lagged from their long journey from the Caribbean, the players couldn’t resist joining in the celebrations.
