Former India captain MS Dhoni turns a year older on Sunday (July 7). Currently, he is in Mumbai for a grand wedding function of Anant Ambani and MS Dhoni cut his birthday cake with his wife Sakshi. Meanwhile, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was also present there. Shortly after the video was posted on social media, it went viral, with several former cricketers, including Suresh Raina and Gautam Gambhir wishing him on this special occasion.
However, MS Dhoni has a huge fan following among the masses worldwide. And, he is one of the most followed persons across streams in this country. Having retired from international cricket four years ago, MS Dhoni is still active in the Indian Premier League (IPL) where he plays for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). However, he is the only captain to win three different ICC trophies, including two World Cups (ODI and T20) and the Champions Trophy.
Besides, under his captaincy in 2009, India became the top-ranked Test side for the first time in their history. He also won five IPL titles with CSK as well. MS Dhoni is yet to take a call on his IPL future, with the decision likely to arrive before the next season.
