Team India registered a comprehensive win against Sri Lanka in the second T20I of the series and clinched the same with back-to-back victories. The contests were held at the Pallekele International Stadium, and once again, India dominated the proceedings. Following the second game, two star bowlers—Arshdeep Singh and Ravi Bishnoi—had a moment of mutual admiration, praising each other.
Arshdeep Singh shared some interesting comments about Ravi Bishnoi and his different habits and how he is always in a hurry. He even quipped about how Bishnoi takes up his lunch very fast, relating that to his quick performance on the ground. But despite being fast at everything, there is much heart and fight inside Bishnoi, said Arshdeep.

“He is always in a hurry, he takes his lunch very quickly. Similarly, he took three wickets very quickly today. He has a big heart, and in the last match, he got hit with a ball but continued to bowl despite it. Today, too he put in an excellent spell, and he is getting rewarded for the hard work that he has put in,” Arshdeep Singh said in a video shared by the BCCI.
He further expounded on this camaraderie, saying, “We have a good relationship on and off the field. Having fun off the field and performing to the peak of our powers on the field is what we both aim to do.
In the same interview, Ravi Bishnoi responded to Arshdeep’s comments and went a step further in elaborating on their bond and how he approaches things. He was thankful for Arshdeep’s remarks and retrospectively looked at his never-ending drive.

“This is in me since my childhood, I get hungry very fast; it is an honour for me that Arshdeep said such things about me. We do have a good bond, and you do have to keep a never-give-up attitude if you are playing any sport,” Ravi Bishnoi remarked.
The series already in its kitty, Team India heads into the final T20I against Sri Lanka hoping for a sweep. The final game of this series will be played on Tuesday, July 30, as both teams face off against each other once again at the Pallekele International Stadium in what promises to be an engrossing contest.
