Despite his stellar form, Jaiswal was not selected for India’s T20 World Cup-winning squad. However, this omission did not impact his performance. In his first game following the T20 World Cup, Jaiswal played a solid knock of 36 off 27 balls in the third T20I against Zimbabwe, including four fours and two sixes. In the subsequent game, he delivered an unbeaten 93 off 53 balls, featuring 13 boundaries and two sixes, leading India to a dominant 10-wicket victory and securing an unassailable 3-1 series lead.
