In an exciting turn of events, Indian star cricketer Rishabh Pant recently turned to X in a bid to rally support behind Chopra. Pant made a generous offer to his followers—that is, he promised INR 1,00,089 to a lucky winner who likes the most and comments on the thread if Chopra secured a gold medal. He further promised to gift flight tickets to the next top 10 engagers on his tweet, cementing his stance for his countryman.

The other great performances put up by India at the Paris Olympics include three bronze medals till now. Manu Bhaker won the first bronze for India in the 10-meter air pistol event. She, along with Sarabjot Singh, also clinched a bronze in the mixed team event. Another bronze medal was won by Swapnil Kusale in the 50-meter rifle category.
