The fast bowler recently turned up for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2024. Despite the best efforts, SRH fell short in the final against Kolkata Knight Riders. Through the tournament, Bhuvneshwar played 16 matches and took 11 wickets at an average of 48.45 while holding an economy rate of 9.35.

As the domestic season is going to progress, Bhuvneshwar is set to turn up for the Lucknow Falcons in the UP T20 League and spend some time enjoying with his family. The seasoned pacer has been missing from the national team though, with his last appearance for India coming in November 2022 during a T20I against New Zealand in Napier.

His last ODI appearance came in January 2022 during the series against South Africa, which was held at Boland Park in Paarl. Despite Bhuvneshwar staying out of the roster for the Duleep Trophy, his domestic performances have been quite impressive, especially with red-ball cricket. Consistent performances brought the Lucknow Falcons to secure his services and made him the most expensive player of the league, revealing that quite a lot remains in store for him in Indian cricket just yet.
