Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon To Perform at UP T20 League 2024 Opening Ceremony

The second edition of the Uttar Pradesh T20 League is set to unveil on 25th August at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow amidst a lot of fanfare of cricketing fiesta. This time, there will be a new star-studded opening ceremony of the tournament with their main attractions from Bollywood, Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon, coming to grace the event. Titled ‘Maha Sangram ka Maha Jashn’, its name itself speaks of the grandeur of the celebrations that cricket fans are going to be a part of, which Ayushmann declared on his Instagram post, leaving his fans and those who follow the league in a tizzy.

Ekana Stadium will host all the matches from August 25 to September 14. This league has been designed to showcase local talent and bring the thrill of T20 cricket to Uttar Pradesh. There will be 31 matches in the league stage of the tournament, scheduled from August 25 to September 14. This will culminate in the playoffs, where Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2 are slated for September 11 and September 12, respectively.

Apart from Ayushmann, the opening ceremony will be glamoured with the presence of Bollywood beauty Janhvi Kapoor and famous rapper Badshah, which would be an added delight for the people coming to watch the league. The league will be formally inaugurated by Rajiv Shukla, Vice-President of BCCI and Director of UPCA, providing a memorable beginning to what assures to be a scintillating tournament.

There will be six teams that battle it out for supremacy in this state-wide competition. The inaugural match will see the battle between Kashi Rudras v/s Meerut Mavericks. This competition promises to be fierce for every team.
