In addition to Jadeja’s absence, fast bowlers Mohammed Siraj and Umran Malik will also miss the tournament due to illness. Navdeep Saini has been named as Siraj’s replacement in Team B, while Gaurav Gupta will take Umran’s spot in Team C. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has yet to announce a replacement for Jadeja.

Umran Malik, who had been recovering from dengue, recently returned to training at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) and was eager to perform well in the Duleep Trophy. However, his health has reportedly worsened, leading to his withdrawal from the tournament.
