However, the session wasn’t without its challenges—Sarfaraz suffered a knock to his right elbow, which caused him to leave the nets as a precaution. The medical team attended to him on the spot, and he is expected to resume training on November 15. Sarfaraz remains in contention for the opening Test, scheduled for November 22 at Optus Stadium in Perth.

If captain Rohit Sharma is unavailable, KL Rahul is likely to step in as opener alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal.
