Travis Head was a standout performer for the hosts, scoring a magnificent 140 in the first innings to lay a strong foundation for Australia. However, Mohammed Siraj’s dismissal sparked an intense altercation between the two players, quickly becoming one of the match’s most talked-about incidents.

Despite the on-field spat, Siraj and Head demonstrated sportsmanship post-match, with Siraj embracing Head after Australia’s victory, signalling a truce. India, on the other hand, struggled throughout the match. In their second innings, the visitors could only muster 175 runs, with Nitish Kumar Reddy’s 42 being the highest individual score. Facing a meager target of 19 runs, Australia chased it down with ease to secure a resounding win.
