Afghanistan’s spin maestro Rashid Khan showcased his magic once again with a sensational delivery during an SA20 clash between MI Cape Town and Paarl Royals on Monday. Leading MI Cape Town, Rashid’s quicker delivery deceived Sam Hain entirely, shattering the middle and off stumps. Hain, attempting to create room for a big shot, misjudged the delivery and ended his innings on 20 runs off 23 balls at Newlands, Cape Town.
The pivotal dismissal occurred in the 12th over and shifted momentum firmly in MI Cape Town’s favor, ultimately leading to their commanding 33-run victory. A video of Rashid’s brilliant delivery has since gone viral on X (formerly Twitter), with the caption: “Rashid Khan spins the end of Hain,” capturing the moment’s brilliance.
