A Brilliant Bowling Performance by Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) saw them beat the defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 12 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad.
Rising Pune Supergiant bowler Jaydev Unadkat bowled a 3-wicket maiden over in the final over of the match to end with figures of 5/30. His spell ensured Rising Pune Supergiant win their fourth game on the trot and handed the Hyderabadi side their first ever defeat at home this season of Indian Premier League.Unadkat today also completed his second five-wicket haul in T20 cricket, as well 100 wickets in the Indian Premier League.
Unadkat having 12 runs to defend started off with an off cutter outside off which was a dot ball. Next Ball he got the wicket of Bipul Sharma which was expertly caught by Ben Stokes after Bipul slogged it to square leg.
Next ball he got the wicket of Afghan sensation Rashid Khan who only managed a top edge and was caught and bowled by Unadkat himself. On a hattrick, Unadkat bowled to Bhuvaneshwar Kumar who looked to hit it away from him but got it off the splice of the bat.The Ball lobbed into the hands of Manoj Tiwary at extra cover who ran in a few paces to take it comfortably thereby completing his hattrick. A 5 wicket haul and as well as 100 IPL wickets.
