Jake Fraser-McGurk and Abishek Porel raced to 33 runs within the first two overs, putting the Royals under early pressure. However, the visitors bounced back smartly—Jofra Archer removed Fraser-McGurk in the third over, followed by Karun Nair’s unfortunate run-out in the very next.
Just when it looked like Rajasthan might regain control, KL Rahul and Porel dug in. Their solid partnership crossed the 50-run mark, rebuilding Delhi’s innings and pushing the Royals on the back foot. With both batters settled and the scoreboard ticking steadily, the Royals needed a spark, and Hetmyer delivered it.

Rahul walked back after scoring a steady 38 off 32 balls. At the end of the 16th over, Delhi Capitals were 130 for 4, with captain Axar Patel and Tristan Stubbs looking to push the total to a competitive mark.
