Suryavanshi, who first captured headlines earlier this year with a record-shattering century in the IPL, proved in the Youth ODI series that he’s far from a one-hit wonder. The Bihar-born batter hammered 355 runs in five matches, topping the run charts. His strike rate of 174.02 and an average of 71 were extraordinary, featuring 30 fours and 29 sixes. The highlight? A blistering 143 off just 52 balls—the fastest hundred in Youth ODI history. India edged the series 3-2.

Having become the youngest player ever to earn an IPL contract, Suryavanshi made an unforgettable debut, smashing the first ball he faced for six. He followed that up with a jaw-dropping century off just 35 deliveries—the fastest by any Indian in IPL history. At 14 years and 32 days, he broke Vijay Zol’s record to become the youngest T20 centurion. He finished his debut IPL season with 252 runs from seven innings, a strike rate of 206.55, including one century and one fifty.
