Siraj, who featured in all five matches of the 2025 Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, finished as the leading wicket-taker with 23 scalps. His consistency and energy became the backbone of India’s bowling attack, especially when pressure mounted. In the series-deciding fifth Test, Siraj delivered a match-winning performance, bagging 4/86 in the first innings and 5/104 in the second to help India seal a narrow six-run victory and level the series 2-2.

His efforts earned him the Player of the Match award, and rightfully so. Reflecting on Mohammed Siraj’s performance, Ben Stokes said, “I’ve always had great respect and admiration for him. He just keeps coming and coming. He’s another example of what it means to never give up.”

Despite the heartbreak of a narrow loss, Stokes was gracious in defeat and full of pride for his side. “Both teams have poured everything into this series. It’s been phenomenal to be a part of something this intense and memorable. Of course, we’re disappointed not to have crossed the finish line here, but I’m immensely proud of the commitment and fight shown by our players.”
