India’s thrilling six-run victory at The Oval sparked joyous celebrations, not just on the field but also in the dressing room. The win helped level the five-Test series 2-2, and while Mohammed Siraj was the hero with the ball, his post-match antics brought smiles all around. Soon after sealing the match with a searing yorker to dismiss Gus Atkinson, Siraj found himself in a playful situation with teammate Arshdeep Singh.

In a video shared by the BCCI, Arshdeep playfully coaxed Siraj into filming a quick Instagram reel using the now-viral line, “Pressure? What pressure?”—a phrase popularised by football icon Alan Shearer during Euro 2024 and now trending among athletes across sports.

Looking puzzled, Siraj asked, “Story ya post?” Arshdeep, laughing, responded, “Abey, reel seedha, 2 second ki.” The friendly banter continued with Arshdeep joking, “Sab sikhana padta hai, bowling ko chhodke”—poking fun at Siraj’s social media hesitancy while acknowledging his unmatched skills with the ball.

Eventually, Mohammed Siraj gave in, and the team erupted in cheers as the reel was recorded. It was a light moment that reflected the camaraderie in the Indian camp after a hard-fought series.
Earlier, Mohammed Siraj was at his destructive best, claiming 5/104 in the final Test and finishing the series with 23 wickets. With Jasprit Bumrah rested for the match, Siraj stepped up as the attack leader, ably supported by Prasidh Krishna. Their combined efforts thwarted England’s late charge, even as Chris Woakes batted bravely with a dislocated shoulder.

The series saw several standout performances, with Shubman Gill and Harry Brook deservedly named players of the series by coaches Gautam Gambhir and Brendon McCullum. But it was the team spirit, showcased through moments like Siraj’s reluctant reel, that truly defined India’s memorable fightback.
