Kieron Pollard once again showcased why he is regarded as one of T20 cricket’s greatest entertainers, delivering a breathtaking knock for Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2025. Playing against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots at the Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba, on September 1, the 38-year-old West Indies legend smashed a blistering 65 off just 29 balls, guiding his team to a thrilling 12-run victory and solidifying their position at the top of the points table.

Batting at No. 5, Pollard unleashed his power-hitting mastery, striking two fours and eight towering sixes. He built a crucial 90-run partnership in just 8.1 overs with Nicholas Pooran, who contributed 52 off 38 balls.

His eighth six, on the final ball of that over, also brought up a rapid 21-ball half-century, underlining his dominance.

With 950 sixes in the format, Pollard sits second on the all-time six-hitting charts behind Gayle, who struck 1,056 sixes in a decorated career spanning over 460 matches.
