Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav didn’t shake hands with Pakistani players during the Asia Cup, but he was spotted posing for a selfie with a Pakistani fan. On Tuesday, when Team India returned to the hotel after practising at the ICC Academy, Suryakumar Yadav encountered a hotel employee who was filming the Indian captain. The employee asked him for a selfie.

Yadav stopped, and the hotel employee replied, “I’m a Pakistani.” When Suryakumar Yadav realised this, he didn’t stop him and allowed him to take the selfie. The Pakistani employee then replied, “We’re all friends,” and Suryakumar Yadav smiled and agreed.
Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav refused to shake hands with Pakistani captain Salman Agha when he came to toss the coin in the match against Pakistan. The situation escalated further when Surya, after scoring an unbeaten 47 to help India win the match, left without shaking hands with the Pakistani players.

The entire Indian team quickly returned to their pavilion and closed the door, leaving Pakistan in deep disgrace. Salman Agha didn’t even attend the post-match presentation.

There could be another match between India and Pakistan. Team India has reached the Super 4 stage after winning two consecutive matches, but Pakistan still needs to win one more. Pakistan’s next match is against the UAE.

If they win this match, they will face Team India again on September 21st. However, if they lose to the UAE, Pakistan will be eliminated from the Asia Cup. This is highly likely, given the Pakistani team’s poor performance. Against India, their batting collapsed like a pack of cards, and their bowling also proved ineffective. Now it remains to be seen whether the UAE can pull off the upset.
