Mohammed Siraj delivered a sensational moment on Day 3 of the first Test between India and South Africa at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, as he shattered Simon Harmer’s off-stump with a blistering delivery. The Indian pacer, known for his aggressive approach, bowled an angling delivery that zipped back into the right-hander. Harmer, misjudging its line, opted to leave the ball—a costly decision.

The delivery snuck past his front pad and crashed into the top of the off stump, breaking it clean in half and leaving the crowd in awe. This crucial wicket came as South Africa extended their second innings to 153, setting India a target of 124 runs to win the Test. Resuming at 93 for 7, the Proteas showed resilience on a deteriorating pitch.
