On last Monday night, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) clinched a thrashing 9-wicket victory against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium (Uppal, Hyderabad). There was an error moment from the umpires as one over saw seven legitimate deliveries during SRH innings.
It was the 12th over in SRH innings, where RR right-arm pacer Ben Laughlin wrongly bowled seven legitimate deliveries. It was the umpires’ mistake to count the number of legitimate deliveries in that over as it saw one extra legitimate delivery over the rules. In the following, we briefly give the structure of that over.

It becomes not controversial due to the match ended earlier. If the match had a close finish, it could a huge controversial.
Coming to the match, SRH decided to field first after winning the toss. While the SRH bowlers were bowling in the good line, their fielders were exceptional. While they were hardly missing any comfortable chances, they also succeeded to win the 50-50 opportunities.
The exceptional fielding and good bowling became the lethal combination as RR managed to put only 125/9 on the board at the end of first 20 overs.
In reply, SRH chased down that target very easily in 15.5 overs after losing only one wicket. SRH opener Shikhar Dhawan took the massive responsibility as his unbeaten 78 runs off 56 balls closed any chances for RR. Also, the SRH skipper Kane Williamson played a steady knock of unbeaten 36 off 35 balls and gave a security on the other side of the wicket. SRH won the game by 9 wickets with 25 balls to spare.
