The turning point arrived in the 14th over when Arshdeep attempted a wide yorker strategy. The execution initially appeared shaky as a couple of deliveries drifted beyond the guideline, conceding wides. But the plan finally worked. Jacks reached out for another wide delivery and managed only a thick outside edge, sending the ball flying toward the deep. That’s when Axar stepped in with a stunning piece of fielding.

Sprinting across at full speed, Axar grabbed the ball while running, but immediately realised he was losing balance near the boundary ropes. Showing remarkable awareness, he flicked the ball back into play before stepping on the cushions. A charging Shivam Dube completed the catch comfortably as Suryakumar Yadav rushed in to celebrate the extraordinary effort.
