This season is expected to witness tighter monitoring, increased manpower, and advanced surveillance systems.
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru management has also taken meaningful steps to honour the victims of the 2025 tragedy. In a heartfelt gesture, 11 seats inside the stadium will remain permanently unoccupied throughout the season, serving as a silent tribute. Additionally, players will wear jersey number 11 during practice sessions and black armbands on matchdays, reinforcing the emotional connection with fans.

RCB CEO Rajesh Menon confirmed that multiple safety audits and reviews have been conducted in collaboration with the state government and local authorities. Infrastructure upgrades include over 300 AI-enabled CCTV cameras, redesigned entry and exit points, and several mock drills to test emergency preparedness.
One of the biggest changes this season is the expansion of stadium access points. Authorities have increased the number of gates to over 40, along with designated holding areas to prevent overcrowding. Only valid ticket holders will be allowed near the stadium premises, eliminating unnecessary crowd build-up. Fans have also been advised to arrive early and make use of public transport to avoid last-minute congestion.
