The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially unveiled India’s home schedule for the 2026–27 season, promising a packed calendar featuring four international teams and 22 matches across 17 venues. The India national cricket team will host the West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Australia in a multi-format season that runs from September 2026 to early 2027.

The home season gets underway on September 27 with West Indies touring India for a limited-overs series. The tour includes three ODIs scheduled in Trivandrum, Guwahati, and New Chandigarh. This will be followed by a five-match T20I series across Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.

In December 2026, Sri Lanka will arrive for a white-ball series featuring three ODIs and three T20Is. The ODI matches will be held in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad, while the T20Is are scheduled in Rajkot, Cuttack, and Pune.

The new year begins with Zimbabwe’s tour in January 2027, featuring three ODIs in Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.

The season concludes with the much-anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. The five-match Test series begins on January 21 in Nagpur, followed by matches in Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi, and Ahmedabad. Notably, Australia entered the contest as defending champions after their 3-1 series win in 2025–26.
