Delhi Capitals found a crucial surge in momentum during their IPL 2026 clash against Gujarat Titans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, thanks to a game-changing over that could well define the outcome. Sri Lankan opener Pathum Nissanka took charge in the sixth over of the chase, dismantling young pacer Ashok Sharma with a flurry of boundaries.
The over began routinely with KL Rahul collecting a boundary and rotating the strike. But once Nissanka took control, the contest shifted dramatically. Washington Sundar added further impetus with a well-compiled 55 off 32 balls, ensuring GT crossed the 200-run mark comfortably.
