German influencer Lizlaz has revealed how her life changed dramatically after Indian batting superstar Virat Kohli allegedly liked one of her social media posts, an interaction that quickly went viral across the internet. Speaking about the unexpected attention, Lizlaz admitted she was completely unaware of the moment at first and only realised its scale after receiving countless calls and messages.

According to her, the incident instantly pushed her into the spotlight, bringing brand collaborations, media attention and even reality show offers. “I found out because people started calling me. I didn’t even notice it in my notifications. Then I searched online and saw pages full of stories about me. It honestly felt unreal,” she said during an interview with Filmymantra.

The influencer also claimed that some individuals approached her with offers to speak negatively about Kohli online. However, she firmly rejected those proposals, making it clear that she had no interest in creating controversy around her favourite cricketer.

“Some people wanted me to throw shade at him and make up stories. But why would I do that? Virat Kohli is my favourite cricketer,” she explained.

Lizlaz further highlighted the cultural contrast in reactions between India and Germany. While Indian fans were curious to know more about her, she revealed that many people in Germany were instead asking who Kohli was, given cricket’s limited popularity there. The viral moment has also opened new professional doors for the German influencer. She recently worked as an anchor during a cricket match between Germany and Austria, where she handled player interviews, post-match presentations and the trophy ceremony.
