Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Shubman Gill continued his sensational IPL 2026 campaign with another classy half-century against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Thursday, May 21. The stylish right-hander reached the milestone in emphatic fashion, smashing Noor Ahmad for a six on the final ball of the seventh over.

Noor tossed one up on the middle stump, and Gill instantly capitalised, launching the delivery over deep mid-wicket to bring up his fifty in just 23 balls. The knock once again highlighted the GT skipper’s incredible consistency and aggressive intent at the top of the order this season.
This was Gill’s sixth half-century of IPL 2026 and the 31st fifty of his IPL career, to go along with his four centuries in the tournament. His fluent innings also ensured Gujarat maintained complete control after being asked to bat first by CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad.
