Indian batter Nitish Rana produced an emotional moment during the Delhi Premier League as he dedicated his half-century to his late mother, Satish, who passed away on August 7 following an illness. Rana reached his fifty in just 27 deliveries, bringing up the milestone with a boundary off the third ball of the ninth over during West Delhi Lions’ innings. After completing the landmark, the left-hander looked towards the sky with tears in his eyes as he remembered his mother.

Rana also wore a special jersey with ‘N Satish’ printed on the back as a tribute. His emotional celebration touched everyone around him, with opposition players and the umpire approaching the batter to offer their support.
Rana’s wife, Saachi Marwah, also left an emotional message on his social media post, writing, “Mumma is here with you.”
