England captain Harry Brook has climbed five places to a career-best fourth position in the latest ICC Men’s T20I batting rankings following an impressive series against Sri Lanka. Brook accumulated 170 runs across the three-match T20I series, including an unbeaten century in the opening game. His consistent performances have lifted him into the top five of the rankings for the first time in his career.
India’s Ishan Kishan continues to occupy the top spot in the T20I batting rankings, while Abhishek Sharma and Sahibzada Farhan are placed second and third respectively. Brook’s England teammate Jos Buttler also moved up the rankings after scoring two half-centuries during the Sri Lanka series, climbing two places to fifth.
Brook’s recent run of form has also strengthened his position across the other formats. He scored 67 in the opening ODI against Sri Lanka, which helped him move up to 12th in the ODI batting rankings. The England captain is already ranked No. 1 in Test batting.

As a result, Brook now sits inside the top 15 across all three formats. If he continues to climb the ODI rankings while maintaining his positions in Tests and T20Is, he could become the only active batter to feature inside the top 10 in all three formats simultaneously.

There was also a major change at the top of the ICC T20I bowling rankings. Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan dropped from first place following an expensive outing against India in the third T20I, where he finished with figures of 1/43.
Pakistan leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed moved into the No. 1 position, reaching the summit of the T20I bowling rankings for the first time. England pacer Jamie Overton was another major mover, jumping 47 places to sixth. Overton picked up five wickets during the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka and conceded only 58 runs, making a significant impact with the ball.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe allrounder Sikandar Raza climbed to second in the ICC ODI allrounder rankings, moving ahead of Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan Miraz. Raza impressed during Zimbabwe’s home series against Australia, scoring 57, 45 and an unbeaten 81 while also taking three wickets. Raza now sits behind Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai at the top of the ODI all-rounder rankings.
