India opener Abhishek Sharma delivered a sensational batting performance in the third T20I against New Zealand in Wellington, dismantling the hosts’ bowling attack during a breathtaking run chase. Chasing a target of 199 runs, the Men in Blue came out with an aggressive approach, with Abhishek leading the charge alongside young opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.

Abhishek wasted no time in putting pressure on the New Zealand bowlers, finding boundaries with remarkable consistency. His explosive innings reached another level in the fourth over, when he completed his half-century in just 15 balls against Kyle Jamieson.

The second maximum came off another short-of-a-length delivery angled towards him, which Abhishek effortlessly flicked over the leg side.
