Former Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma recently gave fans a glimpse into his personal life during an appearance on *Family Full House*, where he spoke candidly about his relationship with wife Ritika Sajdeh. From giving feedback on her cooking to discussing their photography habits during holidays, Rohit shared several light-hearted moments from their life away from cricket.

Rohit and Ritika got married on December 13, 2015, in a grand ceremony in Mumbai. The couple have two children, daughter Samaira Sharma and son Ahaan Sharma. While Rohit generally keeps his family life private, his appearance on the show offered an entertaining insight into their everyday relationship.
Family Full House airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 PM on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV. During the episode, the conversation turned towards food, with Rohit being asked how he reacts when Ritika’s cooking does not turn out exactly as expected.

The India star admitted that there are occasions when the salt in a dish is either too little or too much. However, he explained the situation with humour, suggesting that he does not simply ignore the issue. “Sir, kabhi-kabhi jaise khana bana ke aise hi khilati hai mereko, kabhi kabhi kya hota hai, namak kam ho gaya, zyada ho gaya, toh apan kya karte hain? Chup-chaap se side se aise hataye ya khaye? Arey, maine kya banaya khana!,” Rohit Sharma said.

When asked whether he openly tells Ritika about such cooking mistakes, Rohit confirmed that he does. However, he was quick to appreciate her efforts and explained that she prepares only a limited variety of dishes, but makes them with considerable care. “Haan, haan, bol deta hoon. I mean, halaanki, I don’t think unki jo bhi cheez… I mean, bahut limited cheezein banati hain, jo bhi limited cheezein banati hain, bahut hi achhe tareeke se banati hain, toh… koi complaint hai nahi,” he added.
The host jokingly suggested that Rohit was choosing his words carefully, as complaining too much could mean losing the privilege of enjoying Ritika’s cooking. The Indian cricketer responded with his trademark humour, making it clear that he does not believe in playing safe.
The conversation then moved towards another relatable aspect of their relationship: taking photographs while travelling. Rohit revealed that he and Ritika often end up clicking pictures of other people rather than capturing moments of each other.

“Lekin abhi dekho, main aksar apni biwi ko bolta hoon ki mera photo kheench aise-aise. Lekin aksar yeh hota hai ki hum dono ek-dusre ki kam photo kheechte hain, baaki logon ki zyada kheechte hain. Humein mauka kam milta hai ek-dusre ki photo kheenchne ka,” he said.
Rohit Sharma further explained that couples often have to manage photography themselves while travelling, as they do not always have someone accompanying them to take pictures. His candid remarks offered fans a refreshing look at the lighter side of the former India captain, showing that even away from cricket, his everyday experiences are much like those of any other family.
