Former World Cup-winning Australian captain Michael Clarke said Australia has to rebuild a good team before their home Test series against Indian cricket team. While India has been scheduled to play for the full series tour in Australia at the end of this calendar year, they will play 4-match Test series at first.
India has never won a Test series on the Australian soil. However, the present Indian cricket team is very strong even outside the Asian soil while a strong Australian cricket team suddenly has been broken after the ball-tampering controversies.

During the recently concluded controversial four-match Test series between the hosts South Africa and the visiting team Australia, Australia had won the first Test but later they had lost next three Test matches as they had suffered a Test series defeat on the South African soil first time since 1970/71.
At the later stage of that Test series, Australian team continuously faced controversies due to their various negative behaviours.
The team faced the massive blow during the third Test at Cape Town when the ball-tampering incident had come in front. As a result, skipper Steven Smith and vice-captain David Warner have been suspended for one-year each while opening batsman Cameron Bancroft has been suspended for nine months by Cricket Australia (CA).

During a book launch on Monday, former Australian captain Michael Clarke said Australia has to rebuild a good team to beat Indian cricket team on the home soil.
He said on that occasion, “Australia is under pressure at the moment with everything that has happened. They need to try and work out what their team is going to be. They need to find a way and start to rebuild really quickly because it is a massive series considering we have never lost to India in Australia. So the current team needs to figure out how they are going to build on that success and beat a really good Indian team.”
Clarke also said that he will be unhappy if India wins that series but their credits are taken away due to the absence of the three players.
He said on that, “There’s no doubt that losing Smith, Warner and Bancroft is going to hurt Australia. But I would hate to see that if India do have success in Australia for it to be taken away due to the absence of the three players. I don’t think that is fair to the Indian team. India are a great team and they have had success individually in terms of players who are going to be on that tour. They know the conditions there really well.”
Clarke also believes that India can win the Test series on the English soil which will be played in the upcoming summer. He further added that if India wins the series on the England soil, they will begin the Australian tour with huge lethal confidence.
The 37-year-old said on that, “I certainly think that they are in for a great chance to win in England as well. If India can beat England in England, they go to Australia with so much confidence, that it is going to be really hard to beat them at home (in Australia).”
